The food is good, however they refuse to answer the phone, they no longer take orders by phone, and when they screw up the order(not often)you need to complain in person.
So when you call, you will hear it ring, then dead silence, then the click of disconnection.
The website has bugs that can prevent completing an online order. This evening I was unable to get passed the contact information entry. Most annoying.

I can't get enough of Rice Bowl Deluxe! Their menu is a beautiful tour through various Asian cuisines. The Pad Thai is spot-on, rivaling what I've had in Thailand. The staff is incredibly friendly and always happy to explain dishes to newcomers. It's become my go-to place for both quick lunches and special dinner outings.
The flavors at Rice Bowl Deluxe are truly authentic and delicious. I especially love their Vietnamese pho and Japanese katsu curry.
I am a bit surprised to find a taste so close to Hong Kong’s tea restaurant, especially the beef flat noodles (5 stars). Curry is good (4 stars). Again, authentic HK fast food shop taste. The pork chop veggie rice is ok, but can be better if they can make a better caramelized crust. French toast is excellent (5 stars). Hong Kong style milk tea (4 stars). The only issue – too much carb.
Shop is situated next to a wine shop with an excellent selection. A lot of boutique stuff. Recommend window shop after meal to burn some calories.
Excellent restaurant in the West end, we've tried many dishes and all tasted great. Service is always good and fast, even when it's busy. My LO enjoys their kids meal as well. Highly recommended if you want HK style food for a decent price. Their drinks are great as well, red bean jelly yum!
The Hong Kong menu separates this rice bowl deluxe from the rest!
The Hainanese chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The rice tasted like it actually had chicken fat coating each granule of rice. Four season beans were spot on with garlicy flavor, a bit of spice, and a good crunch texture. Beef brisket with ramen noodles had that five season spice, and a similar wonton soup base.
We also loved their Hong Kong style milk tea. This place is definitely worth sitting in on.

When I ordered here the two taller guy at the front were extremely helpful. They help me find a dish I liked. I was suprise that one knew some cantonese. I had the black bean ho fun ( 豉椒牛河 ).
I recommend this place for good cantonese food. Restaurant very clean too.
Wow! Rice Bowl Deluxe, you cats have got it goin' on! Enjoyed one of the most authentic Tom Yum Noodle Soups I've *ever* had! Perfectly cooked rice noodles, such flavourful broth, lemongrass, Thai basil, the right heat, plentiful chunky mushrooms & broccoli, tender delicious chicken, wow! Excellent crispy spring rolls. At least 6 more dishes I want to try from the vast array of Asian options, highly recommend! Fast, friendly, polite service. Just stellar!
